Description

Known as the largest safari park outside of Africa, the Sharjah Safari Park was an immense 1 billion dirham undertaking, now complete with over 50,000 animals and 100,000 trees cohabiting the heart of the Al Bridi Nature Reserve situated on the outskirts of Sharjah.

Brief Scope and Execution of works

Starting August 2021, Alpha Island Tech was subcontracted to work on the Amphitheater, the Irrigation Pump Station & TSE Booster Pump, Free standing Kiosk substations, and to commission electromechanical and communication lines including all necessary electrical works. Our scope included the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of:

  • 11KV substations and associated modifications in existing networks
  • Supply and installation of LV network and connection to required areas
  • Supply & installation of Distribution Boards/Sub Main Distribution Boards in certain areas for Low power & lighting, Pumps etc.


Alpha Island worked closely with the consultant to conduct further design modifications within schedule. The project was treated as a fast-tracked job and handed over successfully within a 4-month period.
